SUBMISSIONS HAVE NOW CLOSED

We estimate some 20,000 submissions have been sent to the Prime Minister demanding a ban on sow and farrowing crates.

SAFE visited the Prime Minister’s office on the eve of the closing date (16 April) and handed over the 2,500 heartfelt personal messages from caring New Zealanders.

The fate of pigs now lies with the PM and his Agriculture Minister. Thanks to everyone who made a submission, we have certainly made our views known. You guys have been amazing. Thank you so much.
